ZTE to Build China Telecom's IPTV Network in Hubei Province

In March, ZTE won an IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) equipment bid to supply H.264-based equipment to China Telecom's Hubei branch. The bid encompasses the construction of a provincial IPTV platform and local nodes in the cities of Wuhan, Xiangfan, Yichang, Jinzhou, Huanggang, Huangshi, and Xiantao, with a user base of 78,000.
